From martial arts to circus

Yzong Bagua Zhang
An intensive and demanding training awaits you — focused on structure, stability, and presence in movement.
The study of Bagua Zhang forms develops functional internal strength, refines the connection between body and mind, and integrates the principles of spiral motion, relaxation, and continuity.
The circle walking practice, a core element of Bagua Zhang, cultivates dynamic stability, spatial awareness, and fluid mobility in all directions.
Training also includes partner drills, striking exercises, and soft sparring sessions, where the principles come alive through real exchange.

Circus and empowerment projects
Space for body. Voice. Resistance.
Our circus and empowerment projects in Berlin are designed for schools, community organisations, youth groups, and FLINTA* individuals. The focus is on self-empowerment, feminist perspectives, and the experience of rediscovering the body as a source of strength.
Through movement, circus practice, and creative processes, safe spaces are created where boundaries can be explored, self-confidence can grow, and new forms of expression become visible. It is about courage, presence, and collective strength – beyond performance pressure and societal expectations.
I develop and support projects holistically: from initial ideas and concept design to funding applications, organisation, and full implementation.
For more visibility. More agency. More self-determination.

I currently work as a self-assertion and self-defence trainer at Lowkick e.V., Mädchenzentrum Szenenwechsel and occasionally with Jam and Berlin Bilingual School.
